In this workshop we will discuss things that I wish that I had considered when starting a business. We will cover growing your own herbs and turning them into quality products, how to get certified organic, record keeping, issues with GMP/FDA, trademarking, labeling, marketing, and how to get started. Will include resources of organizations that help small businesses as well as farming and bulk herb resources.

In this workshop we will explore various water based methods of working with plants, addressing the difference between a tea, infusion and decoction. We will discuss how to make and when to use these various methods while offering a variety of sample blends to taste. Everyone will have a chance to create their own unique herbal blend to bring home and enjoy. Please bring a pint jar to this class.
