In this workshop we will explore various water based methods of working with plants, addressing the difference between a tea, infusion and decoction. We will discuss how to make and when to use these various methods while offering a variety of sample blends to taste. Everyone will have a chance to create their own unique herbal blend to bring home and enjoy. Please bring a pint jar to this class.

Katheryn Langelier has been studying herbalism and creating medicine for over 18 years, but her love and fascination for the natural world and plants started as a young child. Her philosophy is that the love and study of plants and their use as medicine is a lifelong path of learning – one of curiosity, beauty and wonder. She is the founder and formulator at Herbal Revolution, a small organic herbal business located in mid coast Maine. Herbal Revolution produces a range of hand crafted, high quality herbal teas, body products and medicines using organically grown or ethically wild gathered plants.
